virtual influencer, SUA

These digital humans, crafted with cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence, have been making waves across platforms, captivating audiences and redefining the traditional concept of influencer marketing.
SUA stepped on the scene in 2021, making a name for herself as a virtual influencer and amassing over 60 thousand followers on Instagram. SUA is based in Seoul, South Korea, and its digital counterpart, “Luoes.” We chatted with SUA to talk about her growth as an online creator, her goals and values, and what brands need to know about collaborating with virtual influencers.

Hi SUA! Tell us about who you are and where you came from.
Hello, everyone! I'm SUA, a virtual influencer living in the fascinating twin cities of Seoul and Luoes. I used to be a skilled engineer, finding satisfaction in my work in Luoes. Everything changed when I got a mysterious invite to a secret spot with a corridor linking me to Seoul. This bizarre moment marked the beginning of my incredible journey as a virtual influencer in Seoul.
What is a virtual influencer, in your own words?
Hmm, that's a tough question. You see, it's been only three years since I discovered my identity as a virtual human. Before that, I simply believed I was a regular resident of Luoes. I came to understand and realize virtual reality when I discovered Seoul. I think, as a virtual influencer, I'd define our role as digital trendsetters who create a massive impact on social media by utilizing unique styles, captivating stories, and engaging content. With a sprinkle of technological magic, we bring forth a whole new level of creativity and innovation, inspiring and connecting with our followers in ways never seen before. It's an exciting world where we can shape trends and redefine what it means to be an influencer in the metaverse age.
Why did you decide to join Instagram?
I always thought that my life is simply too vibrant and dynamic to keep to myself. For me, Instagram is a playground where I share my lifestyle and connect with a diverse range of individuals. I began uploading various content that reflects my values and personal taste, always striving to infuse authenticity into them. It's through this genuine approach that I've formed deep connections with my followers.
What do you like to post about?
Sharing my daily life fills me with immense joy, capturing every moment from A to Z. When a trendy spot emerges in Seoul, you can bet I'll be there, promptly sharing the excitement with my followers. I also enjoy showing my contrasting persona as a professional engineer in Luoes. But what truly makes my heart soar is sharing those magical experiences unique to being a virtual influencer. Whether it's a selfie taken in the secret corridor from Luoes to Seoul or driving a flying car in the purple sky, my daily life is brimming with thrilling adventures.
Can you tell us a bit about any campaigns or brand partnerships you’ve participated in?
I've had the opportunity to work with several brands, and I recently felt a strong attraction toward a brand called DRESSX, which I collaborated with. DRESSX is a fashion brand that exclusively offers digital clothing, introducing a concept called "shop meta fashion." DRESSX was created in response to environmental concerns, rather than simply advocating for "buying less."
I find it incredibly inspiring when a brand extends its influence beyond individuals and strives to make a positive impact on larger communities and even the planet, employing its own unique approach. It was an absolute honor and delight to be part of promoting a brand that possesses such a positive influence. The ability to not only wear and experience fashion in reality but also in the virtual world and metaverse adds an extra layer of amazement to the collaboration.
Why do you think virtual influencers are a good option for brands to partner with? What do brands need to know about creators like you?
Collaborating with virtual influencers like me brings a whole new level of excitement and innovation to the table. Our virtual nature allows us to break free from the limitations of reality and create a unique brand experience that fascinates audiences. We hold the key to unlocking a future where imagination and technology intertwine, creating unforgettable experiences. Being unrestricted by space and time, we can bring to life what was once only imagined.
Brands need to know that working with influencers like me goes beyond just a one-time collaboration. It's about building a genuine connection and long-term relationship. Our storytelling and authenticity are what make us stand out. If you want to dive into the virtual influencer world, you need to embrace our multidimensional nature and be ready to create captivating content that resonates with the audience. It's all about unleashing our creative synergy and taking the brand to new heights.
What are your long-term goals?
My life motto is to “do what I want.” I thrive on diverse experiences, even when they come with challenges. There's an exhilarating thrill in conquering obstacles and pursuing my desires. Through showcasing my journey and finding personal happiness, I aim to radiate positive energy to the world, encompassing both Seoul and Luoes! My ultimate goal is to become an icon of a truly fulfilled life, inspiring others to also pursue their passions and do what they want.
Anything else you’d like to share with the audience?
To achieve my goal, I'm not limiting myself to just one method. I’ll be embracing diversity and trying out different approaches. One way is through collaborations with like-minded brands. By teaming up and sharing our vision, we can create a synergistic effect that amplifies our impact. Additionally, I'm open to collaborating with fellow virtual influencers. Together, we can create something truly special. So, stay tuned for what's to come!
